About Cartpado

Cartpado works out volumetric (DIM) weight and billable weight for every carton line in a shipment, in centimetres and kilograms or inches and pounds. Cartons stay in the unit you enter them in; when a carrier rule bills in the other unit, each carton is converted first and then rounded the way that carrier rounds. It shows which boxes are billed on volume, how much weight you pay for air, how much smaller those boxes would need to be, and what the same cartons would bill at under other common divisors.

How it works

Cartpado runs in your web browser. What you enter is processed on your device, and the shipment is saved in this browser’s local storage. There is no account to create and nothing to install. The calculator sends anonymous usage counts, such as “a CSV was exported”, with none of your cartons or numbers in them; you can turn them off.

Who makes it

Cartpado is an independent browser tool.

Read the privacy notice for details on storage and the anonymous usage counts.
